Press flat with an iron.
Origami bag sewing. Fold the edge over again so the folded edge comes just past the line you drew. One strip for the outer side and one for the lining. Trim any extra fabric from the seams and corners.
First cut your pieces. Fat quarters are usually 18 x 22 46cm x 56cm. Twist the seam line to the underside of the handles.
Place right sides together and sew around the edge leaving a gap for turning near one of the corners on one of the long sides. Turn right side out and press. Stitch down to secure sewing all the way across the bag corner.
Use an erasable marking pen to connect the two dots creating a diagonal line across the corner of the bag. Starting in about the middle of one side of your square sew them together a quarter of an inch from. Fold the rectangle into equal thirds so you have 3 equal squares.
Fold the corner down so the tip meets the line you just drew. First we re going to trim your fat quarters. Place your two squares right sides together and pin.
Pull the handle cover over the joined handles.
